Description |
Parade for the Coos Bay (McCullough) Bridge Celebration June 6, 1936 The car is decorated in a star spangled banner flag and it is towing a flower covered float. Several people are visible on the float including four swimsuit clad women and one man. The women are standing up on the edges of the float-- two on each side. The man is sitting on the front of the float and wearing a sherrif style hat. A flag is visible flying in the background. Handwritten in blue ink on the front center of the photo: "CB Bridge Dedication / Float."
